&lt;p&gt;LIMBAUGH: Yeah. You know, I had a sneaking suspicion you were going to go there, and I have a sneaking suspicion that the Cubans are not all that popular, are they?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;LIMBAUGH: They&amp;#8217;re not, are they? And why aren&amp;#8217;t the Cubans popular in the overall Hispanic group?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;CALLER: Because, unfortunately for the Hispanic population, they&amp;#8217;re all different and they all have their different local customs and they&amp;#8217;re very protective of it.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;LIMBAUGH: But isn&amp;#8217;t it &amp;#8212; Sylvia, isn&amp;#8217;t there a &amp;#8212; I&amp;#8217;ll whisper this so nobody else hears, isn&amp;#8217;t there a racial component to this? The Cubans &amp;#8212; not, you know, I mean &amp;#8212;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;CALLER: A lot of times, and I&amp;#8217;ll be very frank and honest with you, knowing all of the markets I know, they&amp;#8217;re very &amp;#8212; a society that&amp;#8217;s &amp;#8212; they&amp;#8217;re very close to their Cuban roots. And I know some of the older-population Cubanos eventually want to go back to Cuba. And they don&amp;#8217;t want to let it go.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;LIMBAUGH: But the Republicans get a large part of the Cuban vote, particularly South Florida, already. And it&amp;#8217;s oriented &amp;#8212; I can&amp;#8217;t win here, I just can&amp;#8217;t win. It&amp;#8217;s oriented &amp;#8212; the reason that the Cubans are not that popular, of the Hispanic divisions you&amp;#8217;ve talked about &amp;#8212; it&amp;#8217;s a race thing.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;CALLER: Yes, it is.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;LIMBAUGH: It&amp;#8217;s a race thing. They&amp;#8217;re just not quite dark &amp;#8212; as dark, and they&amp;#8217;re oriented toward work.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;CALLER: No, the thing that we &amp;#8212; and I&amp;#8217;m going to say &amp;#8220;we,&amp;#8221; collectively &amp;#8212; the thing that we all have in common is Spanish. And that is something that &amp;#8212; we&amp;#8217;re very proud that we can speak a second language. It&amp;#8217;s helped me in my career.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;By 2PM, I had completely given up. I finally got ahold of someone at around 1PM and I never heard back. From what I understand, the entire system crashed at around 4PM. I’m not sure if that’s true, but it wouldn’t surprise me. I decided to wait for my wife to get home from work to vote, which meant going very late (around 6:15PM). Here’s the kicker, I never got a call to go out and vote. So, who the hell knows if that end of it was working either.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So, the end result was that 30,000+ of the most active and fired-up volunteers were wandering around confused and frustrated when they could have been doing anything else to help. Like driving people to the polls, phone-banking, walking door-to-door, etc. We lost by fairly small margins in Florida, Virginia, Ohio and Colorado. If this had worked could it have closed the gap? I sure hope not for my sanity’s sake.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The bitter irony of this entire endeavor was that a supposedly small government candidate gutted the local structure of GOTV efforts in favor of a centralized, faceless organization in a far off place (in this case, their Boston headquarters). Wrap your head around that.&lt;/p&gt;

Because on radio ads, on TV, and on the web, the Democrats tried to make this election about a single issue:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The right to slut.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Or more precisely, the right to slut without the responsibility of consequences.  The famous “gender gap” isn’t really a gap based on gender.  The right overwhelmingly wins older and married women.  The “gender gap” should more accurately be called the slut vote.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;…&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;One thing one has to remember about women, especially slutty ones:  They usually don’t make decisions based on reason.  So all the Obama administration had to do was scare them that Mitt Romney was going to take away their birth control and their access to abortion.  The fear for them is that, without birth control and abortion, they might actually get pregnant and have to give birth.  That is scary not simply because of the economic burden of having a child (since, hey, they can get all kinds of cash and prizes if that happens), but because if that happened then everyone would &lt;em&gt;know&lt;/em&gt; they’re sluts, and their image as daddy’s pure little snowflake princess goes out the window.&lt;/p&gt;
